As of July 2023,^[atualizar] Anthropic had raised US$1.5 billion in funding. In September 2023, Amazon announced an investment of up to US$4 billion, making an initial investment of $1.25 billion, and following it up with a $2.75 billion investment in March 2024. This was followed by a $2 billion commitment from Google the following month. In February 2024, the venture capital firm Menlo Ventures closed a deal to invest an additional $750 million.
