Reliance Communications is a telecommunications company based in India, founded under the name Reliance Infocomm Limited in 2004. The company has been a pioneer in the field, introducing services such as CDMA2000 in 2004, GSM in 2008, and MIMO technology[1] in 2011. It was rebranded as Reliance Communications Limited in 2006. The firm grew through acquisitions, notably Digicable in 2010 and Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited, also known as MTS India, in 2016. Despite some legal complications, including a failed merger with Aircel, the company continued to expand by obtaining 3G spectrum licenses and selling assets to address financial challenges. It also concluded successful mergers with MTS and Aircel. Today, Reliance Communications is known for its commitment to innovation and its influence in the telecommunications sector.
